Tijdens een speurtocht op het internet naar alles over hygge kwamen we toevallig vakantiehuis StroEnzo tegen. Verleid door de foto's en omschrijving van Geert boekten we enkele ogenblikken later ons verblijf. En ja... onze verwachtingen zijn volledig ingelost! We kregen een warme welkom door Geert die bij aankomst de kaarsjes al had aangestoken. De start van een zeer geslaagd weekend. Het huis ademt gezelligheid en heeft vanuit de zithoek een mooi uitzicht. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd, schoon en coronaproof. Er waren voldoende speelmogelijkheden in het huis voor de kids en veel wandelmogelijkheden in de regio. We hebben met onze gezinsbubbel heel hard genoten. Tip : wanneer de kids in dromenland zijn, probeer dan eens de kletspot uit... zaaaaaalig!

The pictures speak for itself. Very clean and cozy. A very nice place for a family with young kids. Enough toys and loads to read. The internet connection is very good. You have a supermarket about 1,5km away and it’s open on Sunday. We stayed for two nights but definitely worth to spend longer there. / Juli 2020

Het huis is een gezellige en ontspannende plek. Veel privacy door locatie op eerste verdieping en mét dakterras. Heel goed uitgeruste keuken en platencollectie is een nostalgische extra. / Juni 2020

Het huis en de locatie waren geweldig voor ons. We hebben als gezin een heerlijke tijd gehad.
Mevrouw Geert is een erg aardig en vriendelijk persoon.
Ze gaf ons uitstekende informatie over het huis en de omgeving.
Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die er met het gezin of een groep vrienden naartoe wil.

We hadden een fantastische tijd in VillaEnzo. Gastvrouw Geert zorgt ervoor dat je je meteen thuis voelt en met zalige welkomstgeschenkjes wijdt ze je meteen in in de lokale specialiteiten. Prachtig, comfortabel en fijn huis in een mooie omgeving met veel mogelijkheden voor kindvriendelijke activiteiten.

We had a great stay! Geert was a fantastic host, replied very quickly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house had everything we could have possibly needed, was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. / via Airbnb

We hebben onwijs genoten van ons verblijf met een prachtige tuin, ruime kamers, mooie keuken en heerlijke extra’s als een sauna en grote home cinema.

Das Haus ist in Echt noch viel toller und der Garten ist wirklich riesig. Eine super tolle Unterkunft, die perfekt für große Gruppen ist. Es ist sehr persönlich Eingerichtet und man fühlt sich direkt sehr wohl. Geert ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin: die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und zuverlässig und wir haben sogar einen selbst gemachten Kuchen und eine Marmelade bekommen. Das war sehr lieb! Außerdem haben wir viele Empfehlungen für die Umgebung und was man dort machen kann bekommen. Definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!

Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum! Wir haben uns von Sekunde eins wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das ganze Haus ist mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet. Unsere besonderen Highlights waren der lichtdurchflutete Essensbereich, die Gartenanlage, die Sauna & die Feuerstelle! Wenn man einen Ort für sich und eine Gruppe möchte, ist das genau der Richtige! Ich hoffe ich werde eines Tages nochmal kommen. Vielen Dank!

Geert’s Hygge Hotspot Tour was a wonderful experience! We got to know Maastricht from a local perspective which felt very rewarding! Geert is easy to talk to and super knowledgeable. We had a few breaks in between and had the opportunity to share stories. For example, we stayed for a few minutes on a bench on the West side of the city and ate peanuts which Geert brought for us and were roasted at shop in the center which we then visited. We ended the tour with a drink at a rooftop bar, overlooking the city. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the current state of Maastricht and find out cool places to eat or have a drink. Definitely do this at the start of your holiday so you can go back to your favorite places (Geert shares a route map). // Februari 2020

Geert is a warm-hearted amazing person from beginning. Her local Maastricht “Hygge” tour covers so many wonderful places everywhere in Maastricht. The 3 hours tour went like instant flash. I enjoyed it very much & I will definitely take it again when I visit Maastricht again in the future.
