My husband Hein and I wanted to explore the Opal Coast and the North of Normandy, we also took our bicycles with us, because it is so wonderful to discover a region from your bicycle. Strangely enough, our bicycles remained untouched in our car for a week, there were absolutely no bicycle roads to be seen there.
It was then that I actually realized how unique and special the Limburg cycle route network really is and now I am even more of an enthusiastic ambassador for it. xx
From my three places to stay you can be on the cycle route network in no time and you can enjoy the most beautiful Haspengouw landscapes for miles along well-maintained cycle paths and roads. You just have to follow the numbers of the blue bicycle signs.
You can park your bicycles safely in my three guest addresses. Renting bicycles? Then I would like to put you in touch with the local bicycle rental company of Jos and Nick.

By bike across the Maas to the Netherlands
This is one of our favorite cycling routes if we want to go on a nice bike ride at the weekend. Taking the ferry by bike, that is always an instant holiday feeling. And then we like to stop on the other side of the Maas at Aon 't Bat, somewhere on one of their many terraces or in the lounge chairs, wonderful!

Nice bike ride in the area of Borgloon
You can make a longer bike ride from Riemst to Borgloon or you can take your bike with you and ride a nice cycle there.
Borgloon is located in the middle of the Limburg fruit region, so it is especially magically beautiful here in the spring with thousands of blossoms in the fruit trees.
Of course, the see-through church should not be missed on your bike ride. Be sure to also drive to the Floating Chapel in Helshoven and the wooden slats architecture at the Klooster van Colen in Kerniel.
